Oxegen music festival Punchestown July 10th, 11th

Home

I met others down at the
festival, too. Aside from
Neil and Eoin, I met and,
at times, hung out with D,
Carmel, Matthew, Nicola,
Rory, Susan, Michael,
Donna, Elaine and Mary.

Thanks to dodgy mobile
phone networks, this was
never more than for about
an hour or two at a time,
as arrangements to meet
"later", were continually
sabotaged by rain and
over-packed networks.

You are beautiful, no matter what they say:
The female contingent of the crowd
dragooned their boyfriends and menfolk into
sitting through Pink on Sunday afternoon.

"Get me out of here" - Pink, Sunday afternoon

The Ahern twins,
Donna and Susan.

Damn network! Neil
and Eoin -- the two
blackest Corkonians
you'll ever meet --
desperately try to
contact the outside
world to find out the
Cork/Tipperary
hurling score

The lads: Neil, Eoin
and I.

Nicola and D stay
warm

Chaos reigns as
Eoin tries to 'help'
an unidentified
friend -- probably
Susan -- into her
rainproof pack

Some spacer

Er, no thanks mate

Eoin hasn't given up
on finding out the
GAA scores, while
Neil does an
impression of Julian
Casablancas of The
Strokes, who
performed while off
his head on his
something

Carmel wonders
whether she trusts
the Portakabin
facilities, or whether
her own accessories
might prove more
reliable
