This year's big music festival was again at Punchestown Race Course in County Kildare, about 30 miles from Dublin.
It featured 60 or so bands including The Strokes, The Cure, Massive Attack, The Chemical Brothers, Kings Of Leon, The Darkness, Muse, Wu-Tang Clan and Belle And Sebastian.
The best performances were probably Electric Six, The Strokes and Kings Of Leon. (The Cure were crap.)
I went with Neil Callanan, a friend from work, and a friend of his who joined us at the same event last year.
It lashed rain a few times.
It's called Oxegen, by the way, because Guinness (who sponsored the event last year when it was called 'Witnness') pulled out as sponsors and were replaced by Heineken. Oxeg-en, Heinek-en. Get it? Nah, neither did most people.
