Dublin, December 11th, 2003 -- The Christmas 'business meeting' season commenced with a
bang in Dublin last night, as almost
10 IT journalists tucked into a slap-up meal in upmarket Peplo's
restaurant while discussing broadband, 3G and Minister Ahern's latest initiatives to bring internet
connectivity to the border counties. As subsequent portions of wine, Champagne and crabmeat were
downed, all agreed that the nation's infrastructural issues "probably needed addressing".
